Doukissa Nomikou. Branding, Packaging, Jewelry Design & Development
The Doukissa Nomikou Logo is a symbol Amalia designed for Doukissa and her husband Dimitri as a gift for their wedding. The design combines the couples’ initials in both English and Greek “D+D” and «Δ+Δ» to create a heart - the ultimate symbol of Love. And if you take a closer look you will notice that in the center of the Heart a “Peace” sign is created ultimately symbolizing “Love & Peace”. Doukissa fell literally “In Love” with this symbol and expressed the desire to create a jewelry collection around it so that she could share her love and this beautiful symbol with the world. We collaborated on the design of the jewelry collection itself but also undertook it’s development & construction. Doukissa wanted the pieces to be understated, refined, elegant & timeless while at the same time keeping them affordable without compromising their quality and i believe together we achieved just that.
